Back in September I had the opportunity to meet with a relative of Teresa Dean. I was saddened by the memories that she spoke of. Apparently there were alot of secrets in this family. I have scheduled another meeting with this family member and will post all info here. This person was very generous in talking to me and spoke of being victim to child molestation at the age of six by a family member. This was very hard for her to talk about along with the memory of Teresa so we ended our talk and planned to finish it another day.

Put up a new page here yesterday for Cody Landers info. Heard he just got out of Baldwin State Prison and headed to South Carolina. I am, by no means, in any way...saying that he is guilty or innocent in the Teresa Dean case because I have no idea. I will have to say that alot of red flags point in his direction and that's what makes me lean more towards the predator being someone else. I may be wrong but even the dumbest criminals know when to lay low. Is he stupid? Well I agree with that if he molested two young girls shortly after the disapearance of Teresa and I agree he should have been punished severly for those actions but....would he be dumb enough to molest and take that chance right under the noses of law enforcement investigating the disapearance of Teresa? Would you? Thinking outside the box...it would just be to easy to point the finger at him right now.

My gut feeling is that someone on Lawrence Drive took Teresa. Someone very familiar with the area. They lived on Lawrence Drive or they frequently went to Lawrence Drive. Maybe it was Landers but at this point I would have to say I am leaning towards someone else. Keep in mind, Landers was not the only child molestor living on Lawrence Drive during that time. What are your thoughts?

Over the past couple of years I've become friends with a person who is a cousin of Teresa Dean. This person, I'll call Ann, stated to me that she and her family lived on Lawrence Drive for a period of time when Teresa disapeared. She remembers Teresa as being a little girl who loved being outside. Ann was only a few years older than Teresa but remembers trying to help Teresa wash her hair because no one else took the time to do it. 

As we already know, there were at least two child molestors living on Lawrence Drive when Teresa disapeared but Ann tells of yet another predator...an uncle who lived on Lawrence Drive and at the age of six, Ann was sexually molested by this uncle. So now we have three monsters living on Lawrence Drive at the time of Teresa's disapearance.

Ann kept the molestation a secret most of her life and I think I'm one of a few that know about the incident. If this story is true...there was a possible third predator living on Lawrence Drive when Teresa disapeared. I've asked Ann to take me to her old neighborhood and show me around, where everyone lived. She says she will but she says the thought of going there disturbs her s it reminds her of Teresa.

Did Teresa know her predator? After extensive thought and research, my guess is that she did in fact know or was familiar with the person who abducted her. What are your thoughts on this?

In reference to a statement that was made by a visitor on one of the previous blogs...If Teresa was taken to Monroe County and placed in a pond, the first few things that come to my mind are:

1. The person who took her was prob older than the average male predator. Maybe older than 30 years old at least. I feel this because of the distance traveled from Twiggs County to Monroe County. This distance shows, perhaps..."experience" and a little more self confidence. The person would have felt comfortable traveling that distance under the stress of the activity of "abduction". This person more than likely has a vehicle that he had easy access to without worrying about anyone asking questions about where he was going.

2. If Teresa was abducted during the later evening hours, the dark night would have already set in. This person was aware of where he was going which would mean that he had been to the Monroe County site previously and...in the dark, he knew where he was going and felt in a comfort zone traveling there. He knew he would be somewhat "safe" at the location at night. Was he fond of fishing or camping?

3. If someone wanted to hide "evidence" in a pond...I would guess that this person may prob have access to some sort of boat. If not...Maybe it wasn't a pond. Maybe it was a larger body of water near a bridge. Either way, the "evidence" would need to be placed away from the edge of the water to reduce the chances of being seen. Time and effort prob went into weighting the "evidence" down to prevent surfacing. This person apparently was calm enough to go through this process, giving me the impression that this person has a criminal history and/or experience enough to know that he did not want to get caught and perhaps go "back to jail".

There are a lot of lakes and ponds in Monroe County Georgia. If there is anything to the statement that she was taken to a pond in Monroe County, it would more than likely be a pond where people had public access and/or easy access to. The quickest access to Monroe County from Twiggs county would prob be I-75...Could the pond or lake be near that roadway?

DO I BELIEVE THE MONROE COUNTY POND THEORY? Sounds a little funny to me. Why?...
